Focusing on songs collected by folklorist and field recording pioneer Alan Lomax, this collaboratory brings together some of North America’s most distinctive and creative roots musicians to revive, recycle and reimagine traditional music. We worked closely to create a lasting design that paid homage to the days of old but with a new twist—much like the new recordings of these old songs, originally recorded by Lomax.
